Default 89 Cherokee/black smoke

I just picked up my 89 cherokee I have put all new injectors in replaced the 02 sensor genral tune up and fuel filter. It sat for 5 yrs. I can't figure out what else it could be any thoughts

does it even HAVE any oil?

Maybe the mice or wasps built nests in the air filter.

Yes I have done all that the rear main and the pan gasket leaked so I fixed that just can't get itto stop smoking

Black smoke = rich condition.

Are you sure there's not an intake restriction somewhere?

i just picked up an 87 with the same thing. its not really a problem at all. its just cuz it hasnt ran in so long. mine sat for 3 years. charged the battery, replaced the fuel and it started right up. go to the auto store and get some sort of restore for the oil and a fuel additive to clean it out. it should be fine

So far its looking pretty good now guys. I'm taking it in for a diagnostic tomorrow cause now its ideling a little rough and raises RPM about every 15 to 20 seconds. Any ideas there?

also check the map sensor. if they go bad it will run like crap and run hella rich
