so i bought it 4days ago, started and ran fine first two, came back the next and would not start. my first idea was to spray starter fluid in it, did not fire so i went on to the next idea and checked the spark to the plugs, no spark i then tested for a spark from the coil and the coil plug did not have a spark eather. i keep reading about a cps sensor but i am a newb to jeeps and have no idea where or what to do to check it. any advice anyone?

it could be your cps,try to unplug it and plug it back in,might work

 

where is the cps located on the 88 motor? im a newb sorry
