A buddy offered me his '88 for $250 the other day, and from what we can tell the torque converter went out in the tranny. I can get a like-new AX15 5spd tranny for $75, but was told i'd have to re-gear my front and rear diff's. Anyone know anything at all about doing something like this? And any rough estimates on what re-gearing the diff's, or whole new axles might cost me?!?
