Check your tps. I had the same problem. Its located on the throttle body base.Yor supposed to adjust it by moving left or right until you get the right voltage. I just adjusted it till my idle and throttle got better.

the O2 sensor is not an essential sensor in a RENIX jeep, (that means that if you unplug it you will have open loop but fuel/air ratio will be constantly at 14.7 : 1)
Check the vacuum feed to the map sensor.

smokey the tps is the throttle position sensor that tells the computer where your foot is on the gas pedal in order to manage fuel injection and tranny operation.

I just replaced the idle air control and readjusted the TPS. No more problems with starting from a stop and it idles great now. I picked up some good stuff about adjusting the TPS here.

The jeep is not under warranty the 02 sensor is i wish it was under warranty. I checked the ohms of the 02 and they were right at 7 which is where it should be. Today i had a little bit of backfiring out the exhaust, i dont understand why i went from 20 mpg to 10 and the map sensor and vaccume lines are new
