Default 88 XJ Cruise Control Question

Hey Guys,
I just replaced my combination switch thinking it may have gone bad bc my cruise control hasn't been functioning and I already checked the vacuum lines. When I removed the switch I found that the previous owner did not have the wire to the switch even plugged in(the orange plug). I have been searching the internet, my factory manual, and the Haynes, but have not been able to figure out where it is supposed to plug into. I'm guessing the cruise control module. If so where is it located? If not, where does it go? haha thanks in advance!

Module is a 6" square yellow box up under the dash to the left of the steering column.

You guys rule thank you. I will have to take a second look, but Im pretty sure the module is MIA. Looks like I can get a new one for under $150. I am having a lot of fun sorting through the reality of the last owner's BS haha.

X100 on this! They are not that hard to find. I got one for $40 from a guy parting out his Jeep. Look around more.
