I'm going to get the a/c woking on my cherkee. the old condenser was cut out when removed. I can get a new condenser, however i'm having a heck of a time finding the lines going too and coming from the condenser. The ends were cut off mine. Any ideas where i can find them new? what are the technical names for these 2 hoses? thank you!

 

you are going to have to get all new components. everything. once an ac system is cut the air oxidizes the metal, and any moisture inside the system now has to be taken out.

even when you get new parts, you have to put the system in a vacuum. then you can put r134 in.

 

thanks for the reply. maybe i didnt word it properly. i know what needs to be done i just cant find replacement hoses going to/from the condenser. the ends were cut off the old ones. once i have the system complete i'll worry about the rest. thanks

been there... nothin, even called they have the condenser but no lines...

 

You will have to have them made up locally.
