Default 88 vac line info

I got a 88 xj with a renix, im cleaning up all the stuff under the hood for the build. but i have two random vac lines im having trouble with.
the first one comes from the firewall above the ac manifold block. there are two..the black goes to the vac canister, and the white one is broken...and i cant find where it should go.

the second one is the blue line from the front axle disco..it just hanging by the firewall with what looks like a check valve at the end.

does anyone have this year they can go pop the hood and look for me?

You know, I have an 88, and really wish i could help here... Truth be told, most of my vac lines were removed and plugged with bolts, and what is there is so f'ed up that they might as well be sealed. I will take a look tomorrow, but the one to the ball is for your heat. Turn your heat on full blast and see if it just comes up by the vents. If that is the case, that line is cracked or ball broken.

ball is ok..and so is the black line from the fire wall...but the gromet has two slots..one for the black..and the other is the white...cant find that one.

also the blue line from the front axle...comes from the axle to just below the cruie module..then terminates at what looks like a check valve

I am not sure. I'll have to go out tomorrow and dig out my manual and see if it says anything. The lines on the axle i believe are for the 4wd, and mine are yanked and plugged up. As for differant colors, all the ones that are still on mine are black. The PO definatley screwed my jeep up.

Vacumn line for ac/heat actuators under the door. Goes into a check valve and then to manifold vacumn. If your ac/heat doesn't switch from defrosters to vents etc. that's the most likely cause.

The white line probably went to a heater control valve that is not there anymore?

Could be. You don't need an HCV anyway. Plug the vac line.
