Have you done any of the "fixes" as outlined in the link of my signature?

Also, make sure your intake manifold bolts haven't loosened up.

And, ECU is the LAST thing on your list.

New plugs, wires, cap and rotor should be done along with cleaning the throttle body.

I've got a parts list of about $500 bucks that includes all that jazz that my tax returns are going towards. I have read that renix's dont really like fancy spark plugs, is this true that i should just stick with the oem replacements?

Yes, get some champs or autolites. As long as they're gapped to .035" pretty much any basic copper spark plug will do.

any spark plug will work from what i have tryed and seen champion autolite etc all do the same thing bosh platinium plugs champion truck plugs.

My jeep doesnt i repeat doesnt run any different with copper truck plugs then cheaper or rather platinium ones.

I know because ive had both and my jeep dident magicly have more horsepower or better mileage.

In fact the person at vip auto a chick claimed that champion dident make copper plugs anymore i laughed and dident say anything.

I then went to carquest and another women had been working there and she says there right here sir how many u need.

I was shocked that a person could say that a company who started making sparkplugs dident carry original copper. I dident even wanna complain to a manager i just laughed and said cant believe that store is paying someone who knows nothing.
