Anyone know if he can connect the two wires together, (temporally), to the white switch to test/and rule that out? It seems odd that it waz adjusted like it was...If indeed that little assembly can prevent it locking that seems something I would want to rule out. Just my .o2!

88, I just adjust my cable with about no play, or the thickness of a dime...(while it's on the idle stop)

I'm curious..when you do yours with the proper procedure...what does it come out like? Is it under some tension, is is there any play? Something is gummy or not right on mine is why I do it manually. It seems to work great with near zero play...that doesn't mean it's right though!

OK thanks! Very little play I'd assume.....I've found the thickness of a dime (or less) works OK....on mine at least..

Don't you have to push the plastic insert in before you open the throttle or is that the wrong way?

I push and hold the button, shove the plastic sheath all the way in (to the left), open the throttle wide open and keep it that way, release the button, let the throttle return to idle stop, then open the throttle wide open and the sheath come out and clicks to a stop. Isn't that right?
