axle will fit. engine though. your going from a standard 4.0 to an auto 4.0? im thinking there will be mods needing to be done. but will fit in the engine compartment. will need to mounts prob. but should be fine.

o would i be able to use the wiring harness from my jeep or do i have to use the 95 harness the donner jeep has the sport option and i already did the cluster swap on my jeep
I swaped a motor off of a manual wrangler into my automatic cherokee. The only mod i had to do is remove the spacer on the back of the crankshaft.

This spacer holds the pilot bearing for the clutch assmebly.and I drilled and taped screws into it so could remove it. You have to remove it cause the back/front(depends on how you look at it) has a centering dowel that does into the back of the crankshaft

yes. the harness shouldn't be a problem. but someone may contradict me on that. as for the guy with the spacer. u wont need to do that probally. because his is from a differnt model. yours are both cherokees if im correct... but mods may be necessary. since one is stick and one is auto.
