Default 88 cherokee problems

alright a few days ago, i was getting the cherokee pulled out of the garage and running before getting it loaded on the trailer for a trip this weekend and a fuel injector started pissin everywhere. so i changed it out and then another broke. well, i changed the second one out and now that part is all better. it was running decent before all of this but now if im lucky enough to get it started, it idles rough and at 2-500 rpm and backfires nice and loud. i need to get it fixed so i can go crawlin this weekend... any ideas? I did a few searches but didnt see anything that really helped.

Good chance your injector seals are sucking air. Spray around the injectors with carb cleaner to find the leak. Best off replacing all the injectors with the newer style that don't ****. www.precisionautoinjectors.com. Price is for a set of 6 flow-matched 4 disc injectors with new o-rings.

Ill do that eventually. The motor is on its last leg anyways. This is the last trip out on the tired motor. after this trip, its getting torn out and rebuilt so I just need this last trip. Ill try the carb cleaner trick.. will anything else work? Im not sure if I have any carb cleaner. I think I have starting fluid
