Default 88 cherokee laredo
My tranny seems to be either shifting up or down too much. This is my first jeep...does the power/comfort button have anything to do with the problem. Almost feels like it wants to constantly shift
Need advice

Yes it does. Put it in the Power mode and leave it. Does the switch light up in the Power mode BTW?

Check to see if the "trans" fuse is blown in the fuse box first. Let us know what ou find.
