Default 88 cherokee Dana 35 NEED HELP!!

so I have the Dana 28 rear end in my jeep now and i took the yoke off to replace it and when i took it off i had to move the jeep so i put it in 4wd and drove it forward with the front wheels. as i did this the bolt the yoke goes on sucked in and locked up my tires. Now the jeep will go in reverse but not forward i believe my rear end is bad now but im not sure, I have a 35 dana rear end for a spare.

i was wondering if maybe anyone knew how to fix my dana 35 rear end or how bad it would be if any if i decided juet to swap to my dana 29.5? please help asap!

Sounds like your pinion shaft started to walk into the diff as you moved it. You might be able to pull the diff and press it back out.

Just put the yoke back on and run the nut down tight... It'll pull back up where it goes.

I've put the new yoke on to pull the penumbra back out and it came out but my tires are still locked up
