it wont swap over without some modification. I cant remember off the top of my head exactilly but a BA-10 is substantial more work swapping to the later (94+) years than swapping a AX-15 down to the earlier(93-) years.

The money you put into parts doing so will buy you a used AX-15 from the JY that will bolt right up.

simple.

bolt your tranny and bell housing up to your 4.0

cut the needed hole in your firewall for your clutch

run the correct plumbing

and bolt up.

you will need the BA-10 driveshafts and cross member as they are odd ***** in themself.

if you dont have a tcase you need a 21 spline (good luck as most you will find are 23 spline)

cut the necessary hole in your trans tunnel for your shifter and mount the tcase mounting brackets (again the BA-10 is shorter so the tcase brackets require a bit of working)

then get a manual PCM as your auto one will throw all sorts of codes

you will have to make your own. noone makes them.....

Take a 94 ax-15 bearing and your BA-10 bearing to a machine shop and tell them what you are looking to do. and have 2 made just incase yours ever goes out

they make an over the counter AX-15 pilot bearing thats fits in the AMC (renix) block due to the popularity of the swap but not a BA-10 to HO block

If I can get the exact ID of my crank and exact ID of my tranny shaft I'll just have a brass one made. Or check stocks of stores.

Napa has the books that you can get sizes from. but they are all application based.

Cross reference input size, output size, length and see if an application is there with those. That is how I do my brake lines and other stuff. But be prepared as they may not have anything.

they dont make true custom sizes
