Hi,

I know AC has been covered to death on here, but I can't quite find what I'm looking for. I have an 88 Cherokee, which should mean it's the R12 system. I tried to just add Freeze 12 in hopes that it would make it blow cold air, but no luck. It didn't take any of the can and it's still not blowing cold. I understand that there are numerous components in the system, but I don't know how to test them or figure out what part has failed. In California, I can't find anyone that works on R12 systems, so I'm stuck trying to figure it out on my own, or completely swapping out the system. Any suggestions for troubleshooting would be much appreciated.
