87 xj stray wire.

87 xj stray wire.
I'm new to xjs and can't find what this wire is or where it goes to. Will upload pics if needed, it looks like it would be a ground but I'm not sure. It comes from the harness running along the fuel rail and drops down along with the coolant temp sensor and 02 sensor wires. It looks just like a cable any help is appreciated and will upload pics if needed. Thanks in advance.

My oxygen sensor is plugged in this wire is running wrapped with the knock sensor wires....not sure what the previous owner had going on but I'm wishing I never took this project on now haha
