87 to 96 swap XJ
I have a 98 model engine in my renix 270,000 mile 87 Cherokee. Its starving for air weak as hell. I'm going to swap my jeep over to 96 everything dash,harness,ecm,99 up intake, steering column, transmission, fuel lines. Is there any problems I should look forward to.

if you drive it on the road your gonna want to keep the 87 dash cause of the vin numbers unless you drill the rivets an swap vins other then that its not to bad of a swap.

if you can do that you should be good to go then you wont have to swap harnesses on the dash the only other thing i can think of that i missed when i done mine was the harness for the tag lights an rear washer/wiper.
