What is the difference between the 97-90 4.0L and the 92+?
There is a local deal on a new ATK engine, I am looking at rebuilding mine but this deal is so damn tempting.
The new ATK would cost less than rebuilding my current 4.0L. Is it worth it? Will it work or should I just rebuild mine?
Thanks.

Yea, I blew it on the OP. The engine is listed as a 1987-1990. Is there a physical difference between the renix and H.O.'s? Its a long block assembly curious if I could drop it in place and run all my accessories without issue.

Yes you can install it and run it. I've done 3 of them. Intake ports are off a bit. Use your flywheel, dizzy, manifolds and sensors. Treat it as a long block swap and you'll be fine. Be sure to use the HO intake/exhaust gasket.
