87 4.0 Clutch fan fitting issues
Im trying to replace the clutch fan on my Renix 4.0> the clutch I got from the auto parts store is about 1/2 inch deeper than my stock, so it hits the radiator, and if I pull the radiator to install it, when the engine is torqued it will hit the radiator. Where can I get a direct replacement for my stock clutch fan?? In the interim what can I do to keep my current fan spining? I heard removing the coil spring will kinda lock it to the shaft?? Any ideas??
Thanks,
Mike
