86 2.8 efe???????????

Can you run the 2.8 with out the efe or spacer? as i was pulling off the carb and removing the efe(for carb rebuild and inspection) the efe fell apart in my hands and i cant find one for sale for the e2se carb. any help would be great..

Dealer said the big o word and there are no yards in my area with a 2.8

you talking about the pre heater spacer under the carb? I had to make one for a couple vehicles...

yep thats the one. I cant find one anywhere. im going to put it back with out it and see what happens. from my understanding that was only on the canadian built models
