1989 XJ 4.0L, Auto, White, 136k. $1,500 obo.
Hi Everyone,
Thanks for checking out my Jeep. Unfortunately I have to sell it, I don't have anymore space here for it and need to get it off the street before winter. I was in the process of building it to have fun off roading, but want to try to sell it to someone who would enjoy it.
I prefer somewhat local sale if possible. My Zip is 10583
Thanks!
1989 Cherokee Limited, 4 Door, White, Gray Interior, 4.0L, 135k. $1,500 obo.
Factory Class 3 towing package, unfortunately the hitch broke.
The body is clean, but the rest of the truck does need some work.
Modifications:
Full Borla Race Exhaust: Headers, High Flow Cat, Cat Back.
K&N drop in air filter.
Rancho RS9000 adjustable shocks. I have the in car adjustment kit, but never installed it.
DayStar Poly Bushing Kit. Front Suspension is completed, Rear suspension never installed.
Poly Engine Mounts.
Cibie Euro Headlights, Clear front turn signals.
3 sets of Hella 500 rally lights.
Kenwood headunit, with 8 inch bazooka tube, JL Audio Speakers.
BFGoodrich ATA's 30x9.5
I have some basic extra parts that haven't been installed that come with the car also.

It is a 4x4, Transfer case is good. Sorry forgot to put that in there.
It does run and runs great.
I think it needs a switch panel on the drivers door? door locks sometimes work, windows sometimes work.
It has an intermittent no start condition, needs a neutral safety switch.
The front ball joints have some play, the front axle joints have play.
And the rear diff is a little noisy.
I never bothered to repair the axles since I was planning to change them to better units.
The chassis is clean, very minor rust in some spots.
The sunroof leak sometimes, so I temporarily sealed it, and the small vent window on the passengers front door leaks at times.
Edit- a couple of months ago, a honda civic hit the Jeep in the back at the trailer hitch while I was sitting at a traffic light, very light hit, probably 5-10 mph (idiot didn't stop in time for the light). This is why the hitch broke, but it was severly rusted before then, so it didn't take much for it to break. The rear bumper shifted slightly, but its not noticeable.

im interested in the Jeep. I will be contacting you (G.J.) this weekend to discuss a meeting. I wouldn't mind not having the bass tube or the hella lights if he decides to part them out.
