1986 2.8 to 3.4 with Injection?

1986 2.8 to 3.4 with Injection?
I was just given my inlaw's 1986 XJ with the 2.8l V6. I am looking into doing the 3.4l swap and already have access to an engine.
Given that the 2.8 is carburated and the 3.4 is fuel injected, is there anyone that has done the swap and maintained the fuel injection? I understand what would be involved, installing an ECM, wiring, and all that, but am wondering if anyone has done this that might be able to share some experience on it.

I don't know anything about the 3.4 swap, but I know the 4.3 swap is fairly popular, maybe you should do a search and see how difficult of a swap that is. See if it would relate to the 3.4 swap.

Search on comanche club.com a guy did a swap to a 3.4 camero engine,why I dont kow I would have put av8 mopar in it so Id have a real engine,anyways try that
