Default 8.25 question

Does anyone know of a kit to replace the rubber plug in the diff. cover. I would like one that bolts in. If not, I can weld in an adapter ( 3/4 inch bung ).

I tried a quick search and didn't find any answers for you. The welding option would work just fine as long as you have access to a welder. Or you could just purchase a new cover, this is what I plan to do, I'll get some armor and a screw in plug, best of both worlds.

Most auto parts stores have diff cover plugs in the "Help" section.

I didn't even know it was an option with the stock cover considering the hole is not threaded. You can just get a new one and add a small amount of silicone if you're worried about a leak.

It is weeping enough to be noticable. I have a welder, so I guess I go with option #2. I'll get what I need from work. Thanks
