Default 8.25 27 to 29 spline swap?
I'd really like to lock the 8.25 that I have in my rig but its a 27 spline shaft. can i swap in 29 spline shafts with a 29 spline locker with out ring and pinion/carrier swap?

Yes you can. I am in the process of trying to find 29 spline shafts to lock on my 27 8.25.

no carriers and spiders all have different part numbers

go here and check part numbers if they atre not the same how can you mix and match

The locker would have to be a full case 29 spline locker. If the locker isn't a full case locker, you will need a 29 spline carrier as well.
