Where did you run the wires from or were they already there? If they were already there, what do they look like and how could I find them. I took off my panel and couldn't tell what should be there for speaker wires. Right now just have the two in the front doors.

I picked up a pair of cheap Planet Audios off Amazon (I'm no audiophile) and they sound great to me. They fit right in there without issue. Just had to drill new screw holes but depth-wise, no issues.

Nice, ill check it out, im on an audio kick after slaming 6x9s in the hatch.
What a difference 4 speakers makes. Next are going to be 6.5s in the doors 6.5s in a speaker bar and either tweeters or 3.5s in the lower dash.

I think I remember reading somewhere that the earlier model XJs has more room in the doors for depth. I know that they sell slim 6.5s, though. Could be an option.
Whats the largest speaker that you could fit in the rear hatch trim panel, behind the plastic? A slim 6.25? How about the largest woofer? Im looking for an increased amount of base while keeping the stock look of the factory trim back there.
