Default 6 cylinders with 5 injectors

so my #2 injector wire failed and i couldn't trace it back cause of such a cluster **** in my engine bay. so being as cylinder number 1 and 2 are so close together in timing and fire the injector at about the same time, i spliced a connector to my #1 injector wire and ran it to the #2 cylinder. so i am running cylinder 1 and 2 on injector plug 1. jeep runs better then ever. is this safe and also any advice on fixing the bad wire?

for the time being, i would redirect the signal through a relay rather than splicing into the wire.
