Just got a 95 5 speed 4.0 has plenty of power all through the gears I noticed when in 5th under full throttle or pressing pedal hard there will be like a studder not immediately like it starts going then 5-10 seconds into it kind of a surge then keeps going? Any ideas? It runs great through all the other gears no codes checked them air filter new

 

And it doesn't feel real bad it kind of like a pause then keeps going

 

Sounds like the clutch is slipping, may be wearing out.

 

Buy a new jeep. Problem solved. Lol just joking. Have you replaced the fuel filter?

 

Does it do this under hard throttle in 4th and 3rd?

 

No doesn't do it in any other gears. And clutch feels good it's not like a slipping feeling
