Hey fellas,
I want to change the transmission fluid in my '95 XJ with 5-speed manual transmission and am wondering if I've got the right filler/drain plugs. I think I've got an AX-15 transmission. I think the drain plug is on the passenger side low down on the transmission and the filler plug is about halfway up the transmission casing on the driver's side. Does this sound right? I've been trying all day to get the filler plug out, but it's stuck good. Need to be absolutely sure it's the right one before I go too much farther.

Use a breakover bar.. hit it with a hammer til it loosens.

 

yep cheater bar....and what fluid did you get....i need to do this

 

Make sure you got a metal friendly oil or you will destroy your tranny
