I have a 01 cherokee sport with the select-trac 242 transfer case and today i was driving on snowy/icy roads in full time 4 weel drive. When i would put on gas the front end sounded like a phone viberating and it was shaking a bit.

 

Could be a front wheel out of balance or a bad U-joint.

 

check the double cardon joint in the front driveshaft, thers a small ball and socket inside that like to wear out..
