Does it stay in 4wheel dive when the lever is in the two wheel drive position or is the lever stuck in the 4 wheel drive position?

the little tabs on the shift forks in the tc may be worn out and not moving the hub in there enough. see how much play you have on the linkage going from the shifter to the tc. also is there any strange noises?

Yeah I will write back tomorrow. I have to drive to school though which sucks 25 miles one way in 4x4 and my fuel gauge went out so I have to put like 20 bucks in because I have no idea where I stand.

I got it. I can change it manually underneath! So, that being said I have to fix the linkage to the lever of the transfer case. Sweet, at least I can switch it in and out of 4x4 now! haha

Yeah I did the reverse thing it's just not connecting. I just go under and change it manually.
