Default 4WD Shifter

hey guys i just recentally pulled my tranny and put a new one in and now my 4x4 lever does not work i cant figure out how to make it work ive looked for diagrams and found nothing. The lever use to have pressure on it and was really hard to pull now its easy and i looked underneath and the 4x4 lever does move the rod that goes into the T-case anyone have any ideas what i did wrong?

Take a picture of the linkage assembly under the jeep and post it here.

It's hard to tell from that picture that's the size of a postage stamp but it looks like the linkage isn't in the body side bracket.

Have someone move the shifter around while you lay under there and watch it. I believe the issue will be obvious.

yeah i did lay under there and watched it moved the linkage that went from the shifter to the connector that connected the 4wd but the rod that went to the T- case wasnt moveing just the shifter rod and sorry bout the pic idk why its so small.
