Default overheating, PLEASE HELP

Ok here it goes, I’m about to go crazy trying to figure this out, here is the background. I had the engine in my Cherokee replaced two years ago, ever since receiving it back it’s been running hot.(did not ever have overheating issues with the old engine) I’ve taken it back to the place, they said that the ac condenser is clogged, thus allowing no airflow into the engine. But they want to charge me to fix it. But the overheating is happening most when driving up an incline, like the mountain etc. here is the list of things that I have done so far. Changed radiator to open(3 core), new thermostat, hesco water pump, burped the engine, checked the temperature with a laser thermometer. New hoses, added the spring in the hose on the bottom. Cleaned out the fins on the a/c condenser. Replaced temp sender on engine. Replaced the fan clutch, and also added an electric fan on a switch from the 99 cherokee(the one with the extra blades) My thinking is that it would over heat all the time if this was an issue with the a/c condenser being blocked.
Any help is appreciated.

Does it get hot at idle or when sitting in heavy traffic? Have you checked your fan clutch? Also is your fan shroud in place and not broken?

Ok how hot is it getting, one thing I did but you don't hear to much on.
Mine was always at 210 and running to the red when stopped in traffic.
Then I changed out my power steering pump, I made the belt pretty tight
and now I am about 180 most of the time.
It was driving me nuts also until I did this.

As rand4x4 mentioned, how hot is it getting when you are reading the temps? Gauge wise and from the laser thermo? Check the belt tension as he mentioned and make sure the water pump pulley is clean and the belt isn't slipping on it.

What degree thermostat did you replace it with and did you put it in facing the right way? Coil spring section of the thermostat should be facing towards the engine and not the thermostat housing.

I know its basic stuff and not trying to doubt you, but I've seen it done quite a few times on several vehicles.

Let us know what temps you are seeing.
