No it will keep going faster just not fast. Like I shift into 4th and can put it on the floor the rpm's go up maybe like 200 when I do that and it slowly picks up speed.

i'll have to let someone else chime in on this as i do not know. maybe your shifting too early, but i doubt it, i have an auto and it shifts into 4th at 40. My jeep hauls butt. i beat h2 hummers all day haha. manual is way different tho. maybe a fuel problem? Does it only do it in 4th gear? will it scream through the other gears?

How do I tell what gearing it is I have an ax-15 transmission, 34x10.50 tires.....gear ratios for the AX15 are: 3.83, 2.33, 1.44, 1.00, 0.79, for first through fifth (http://www.novak-adapt.com/knowledge/ax15.htm)

You should be shifting when the car is at 3500-4000 rpms.

Yeah do you have stock gearing with those tires? If so i'd say it would drive about how my 4 banger on 31s does speed and acceleration wise. If you're on stock gears, then yeah thats about normal. 4th used to be my passing gear at like 50 and up, but now its my normal gear until about 55. I have to use 3rd as a passing gear now too. And if you're on stock gears then shifting at 2000 rpm's isnt gonna let you go too fast. I know in mine i shift at around 3000-3500 most times, but i did change at 2000 at stock

If it's a manual with the 3.07 gears...and you're running 34" tires....welcome to the new normal. You're going to need to re-gear if you want to get any kinda go outta that dude.

you have 3.07s and 34s thats normal. If you do not re-gear you might as well forget about using 5th gear anymore unless your going downhill.
I drove 3.07s and 33s for a year 12-14mpg couldn't go over 65mph only use 5th on downhill.
I have 4.10s now and I am getting 18-20 highway and way more acceleration. I am actually at like 3,000 rpm doing around 70 so I am thinking about tossing on some 35s.

3.07s ouch, your 4th gear will prolly be like an over drive. what kinda RPMs and speed can you cruise in 3rd gear at? Maybe just use 4th on the interstate
