I have a 1999 Jeep Cherokee XJ, with the NP242 T-case. I went wheeling the other night and beat her on her a bit, when leaving the trails i went to take it out of full time 4 wheel and it will not shift into 2wd. It will shift into part-time, full-time, neutral, and 4-low, and all the dash lights work. But when I go to shift it into 2wd the shifter will not go pass part-time, and i pushed it pretty hard. I don't hear any bad or unusual noises from the t-case and i have not had the chance to look at it. I have also tried driving in reverse back and forth into drive and it doesn't seem to work. please help, thanks!!

Yeah im hoping its the linkage or at least thats what i think it is. Because the 4 wheel drive works and when you put it into 4-low you can feel it.
