every time i run my xj and shut it off you can hear a garrgling sound coming from the tank. it normally lasts abour 3min and then goes quite. it never does it wile running. Also if you bounce the truck at all front back side to side you can hear what sound like the fuel float bouncing around in the tank. is this normal or whats going on?

I saw someone else post something similar a few days ago. I can't seem to find the post but someone had suggested there being a bad check valve so the fuel would drain back through the fuel pump.

inside the fule pump theres a check valve that keeps pressure in the lines and doesnt allow the fuel back into the tank if it goes bad i geuss you might here it draing back in the tank try filling the tank all the way and see if it does it it shouldnt drain back in the tank is full
