4 Speed Fan Motor Problem

4 Speed Fan Motor Problem
I'm working with a 1998 Cherokee that has a 4 speed motor for the A/C and Heating System.
It has been fine during the Winter, but 2 weeks ago the fan would not come on in Low, Medium 1, and Medium 2; . . . but it still works on the High setting.
It can't be the fan motor or it wouldn't work on the High setting. Anybody have this problem before me ? What going on here, and where do I start to repair it ?

you need to replace the blower motor resistor

had the same issue, was so glad I did the homework, was afraid I was going to have to pull the motor.... so much better now with other than high all the time, R
