There's one on e-bay but the shipping is as much as the part...I'm gonna hit another yard tomorrow...this yard should take this one back, usually its within 24 hours...

Bummer had I known I would of shipped you one for $20. I just swapped all my clear glass for privacy glass.

I have a 98 xj passenger side vent glass on rear door busted is that a 2 piece design I can buy the glass on eBay for 50$ but it doesn’t come with a frame, what’s my best option?

 

I have seen guys selling just the glass without the frame.
When I swapped over to Factory Privacy Glass I took a quick look to see how they separated.
After about a minute I gave up. Nothing jumped out at me.
Wondering if you just manhandle it out.
Anyway, you can find that glass with the frame on Ebay.

That looks to be Factory Privacy Glass to me.
I did a quick search and did not come across one with regular glass.
I am sure there are some out there.
So make sure you buy which one matches your Jeep.
Couple things.
First I wonder about the fitment between years. Basically '96 and down and '97 and up.
Looks the same but.....
I say make sure it is from a '97 and up just to be safe.
Also the very bottom of the frame that is at the bottom of the door likes to rust.
2" to maybe 3" from the bottom. I don't really think that it matters.
When I made the swap the boneyard ones were rusted like that.
Doesn't seem to effect anything.

If you are looking for a regular glass one I have one.
While I hoard Jeep parts and refuse to part with anything (LOL) the regular glass ones do me no good.
Especially since I have extra Privacy Glass pieces for my Jeep in "stock". LOL

 

I'm interested in a regular glass rear DRIVERS side vent glass if you have one of those for a 98 XJ. I would appreciate it very much. Please let me know if you have one and are insterested.
