I'd do it not a bad price for a stroker..

Now $2300 for a stock reman is insane, I paid less then $900 for mine shipped.

Should be just about 4.6L maybe 4.5L. This list is from a friend Of mine that has done this and it is a beast hit some thing like 210hp and 265tq first time to the dyno so it adds a good 80hp and maybe 100tq!

the engine may make 200 ish stock...but not at the wheels...figure closer to 100 - 150hp range at the rear wheels. you lose a lot power through the drivetrain.

yeah i have two friends that have the stroker motor and they are both 4.7 and they both have a custom cam. but one has LS1 pistons which runs a higher commpression and i think it will have a bit more TQ then the others.

Here is another good list and I think it comes out to 4.7L just a little more money.

Here is a video of the guy with the build list I'm going to use.
and this is thew guy with the one up above I think I'm not sure just go on what they say.

My brother is a mechanic and when I told him I got an XJ he said when are we building you a stroker? Well if I need new bearings to cure the low oil pressure problem then it may be a lot sooner than I was thinking (I was thinking next year or so...).
He has built 3 for Wranglers and said they go together easy and are just a blast in the power gained, and they can be built cheap. :-)
