can someone tell me if the pin that holds in the spider gears are the same size going from 3.07 to 4.56? I was told I would be able to use the same spider gears when I changed to the 4.56 gears, but today after dropping my rearend and pulling everything out, seems that I might have been not given the truth! FML can anyone tell me if this is true?

 

You have to change the carriers both the D30 and the D35.. The spiders should be the same though.

 

I bought new carries from rustys offroad, but the pin that I just took out of my 3.07 carrier that holds the spidergears in place will not fit the same hold on the new carriers getting a smaller pin will make the spider gears loose on the pin.... Pulling my hair out but I do appreciate all of the input yall can give me

 

Leave it to rustys to send me the wrong freakin carrier! how hard is it to get a carrier for a 93 Jeep Cherokee D 35 for 4.56 gears? really not happy with them right now
