Default 4.0l Oil Pan Gasket Question

I'm getting ready to drop the oil pan on my 90xj. My research so far has turned up differing opinions on where to use RTV when installing said gasket. I'll be installing a FEL-PRO OS 34308 gasket. Some I've seen don't use any RTV, others quite a bit. My question is how much and where, or not at all? Thanks

Factory service manual instructions from Cruisers website, page 1201:

The FelPro gasket is superior to and different from the stock gasket. It comes with it's own instructions. I used it when replacing the rear main seal. I used a bead of Locktite 518 in the 4 "corners".

When I put in a new water pump and thermostat housing in my '00 I used FelPro gaskets instead of the supplied paper ones.
I researched this and FelPro was against using gunk on those best I could tell.
Some where in my poking around about this I found something that said if any kind of gunk was needed it would be supplied with the gasket so....
