Post 4.0 Litre high output coming my way !!!

By Monday I will become the new owner of this classic Cherokee 1996, on the dash it has 157k fires right up engine sounds very great no knocking no rust underneath and for the price just had to lock in !!!! Just wanted to post this thread to get more insight on maintenance and helpful tips to make sure I. Have great jeep in my hand also what areas I should look at mainly and put more focus for in case of repairs ?

Congratulations, and welcome to the club!

As for maintenance, change the fluids if they haven't been changed recently like the transmission fluid, transfer case fluid, or the differential fluid. Your suspension may be wearing out, so it might need replacing in the future. A big problem is usually rust, but you don't have any! So other than that just do normal car maintenance and replace things like brakes or oil gaskets if needed.
