When you have 400+ displacement it doesn't care that much.

Question 1: it's still a full removal rebuild and reinstall to change just the block to an HO?
Question 2: do you still get the increase in power from 177 - 192 doing it that way.

If I decide to go with option B, would I be able to still run the original tranny from my 90? The thing is that the donor vehicle is a 97 2WD Cherokee Sport, so I was thinking of using what ever I need for the swapt and part out the rest. Would it even be worth the trouble?

Of course, the tranny is a bolt on. The difficult part of a swap like this is the wires. You will need the entire engine harness, bulkhead connector and fuse box included, to do a clean job. We can help you out if you decide to do this. There is nothing you can't do when you have a wiring diagram, some help and a lot of patience.

Thanks I appreciated. If I go that route I will be parting out the rest of the 97, the problem is where to do it.
