Mine sounds good, just make sure you get the right piping for it to compensate for the offset out on the stock muffler. Get a pipe bent in a slight S before you put it all together. Measure it up good too.

CB Extreme sounds bada** on the jeeps. Look up a video on youtube of one. Theres a red one with duals and another red one with a single out the side. It helps to have a sub with the computer speakers. You hear the low tone better.

I eventually bought a $20 dollar glasspack and I love it. I did lose back pressure but gained a lot more torque. Now is not having as great of pressure going to hurt my valves?

When my stock muffler died, I got the $20 Thrush glasspack from Auto Zone and I like the way it sounds. We do have I6 engines remember. They're not going to sound like a big block 400 like I have in my '76 Power Wagon.
My Thrush has now been through two XJ's and still sounds pretty good, especially for the price.
