I have a buddy that did that and it's way more the just mounts man. They don't have aftermart headers for the swap you have to cut in to your frame to make some header work. But I can get some pics of my buddy V8 swap for you if you want and hi 92 XJ now has a 2003 5.3liter

For some reason I see a small block twisting the livin hell out of the unibody... I can't keep my leafs from sagging all the time from hitting the gas constantly, can't imagine what the sbc would do...

the swap actually makes sense if you use an aluminum sbc like an ls1. the total swap would come out to be about the same cost as a stroker 4.7l and have the same power but the ls1 is 100 pounds lighter than the stock 4.0L
