i was told no. but im sure if you were willing to trim your fenders quite a bit ya could get it.

Sorry bro, you're gonna need 3 inches of lift for your 31 s to fit and have room to move without rubbing. They may fit with much fender trimming without a lift.

take the flares off and trim and theyll fit fine

at the very least use a 2" bb. you mayyyyyy squezzzzze them under there

teraflex 2" BB thats what i got and i fit 31x10.5x15 great.

i just put 31x10.50s under my 92 stock toook the flares off and trimmed bout an inch and a half off the fenders and they fit ok.

On a 91, yes they will fit for daily driving but not for off road. It'll rub a bit here and there but nothing serious. Off road and you shall lose a fender or two. Seen it done with a few xj's around your year.

so i have to take off the fenders flares and actually cut an inch off the actual fender itself?

Fat Bob's Garage sells a 3" budget lift kit for XJs for right around 100 bucks. 2" and 1" spacers stacked for the front and an add a leaf for the rear. We put this lift on my sons 87' XJ and the lift was nice and level and flexy and his 31x10.50x15 Dunlop Mudders have full range of wheel travel during 4wheeling without any rubbing even at full stuff. Only problem is shocks are separate. They will run you another 100 bucks for good ones. Just wanted to offer you another option besides hacking your jeep up.
