Will 30x9.5x15's be OK on 15x8 rims?
I'll be doing mostly street driving, with some light-moderate wheeling......won't be airing down.
I'm collecting parts for a 2.5" BB lift, & I want to run 30's...but if the 15x8's are too wide, I guess I can go to 3", run 31x10.5x15's and trim...but I'd rather not trim if I don't have to.
Recommendations?
Thanks!

You can run 30's on 15x8 rims just can't air down much at all..Ideally 15x7 rim would be the widest I'd use..Go 3" and get 31's you likely wouldn't need to trim at all.

Reviving an old thread because I can get a deal for 15x8 Soft 8's, but I have new 30x9.5x15's on the stock wheels. Judging from what was said here, I could transfer them onto the new wheels without any problems until I can pick up some 32's after the new tires wear down. My question is superficial...what will 30x9.5's look like on a 15x8 wheel?
They should be fine and look normal I guess. I have them on mine and they look fine to me and I have driven on them for almost a year and who knows how long they were used before I bought them. I have no lift and pretty saggy leaf springs also.
