nice, that's not bad. I've been looking at all these different lift set ups on here and I like the 2-3" range visually. I notice a lot of the taller ones tend to look raked one way or another and that would not fly with me.

Did you say you were quoted 509.00 with new rear leaf pack?? I paid 235.00 for mine with AAL's and they are just fine with me. I also got 4 new shocks. I would say scrap the spings and go with the AAL's especially if your rig is newer, your leafs should not be as worn and should work better with the AAL's. Good Luck!!

To anwser your questions, My XJ has 126,900 on it, My lift came with an AAL and rear blocks but I did not install the blocks, just the AAL and new shocks are installed, I did not purchase anything extra besides the kit itself. If I could buy somthing extra, I would have bought sway bar quick disconnects. You have to disconnect the sway bar at the links any way to remove your stock coil spring, would have made more sense to replace them with aftermarket quick disconnects so I could fully utilize my new front suspension. The ride I can honastly say is BETTER than before. I contribute this to the new shocks (old ones were all shot) and the new front coils. I have no drive line vibe's and it tracks straight as an arrow.
Thanks for the input and good luck with yours. USE POWER TOOLS AND LOTS OR PB BLASTER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
