OME, Bilstein are a couple that come to mind. I mean it's not 100% shocks but if you run stiff springs you can and will be suprised was a nice high quality smooth riding shock will do over a cheap hydro shock. I for one plan on upgrading to either OME or Bilstein shocks once I have addressed more important issues to smooth out the ride. Granted they are jeeps and lift will be rough then stock but a good quality shock will go a long ways to smoothing things out. Basically when it comes to shocks you get what you pay for.

i have had done both s10 spring to stock gave me 3.5-4.5, rc is good but in my opinion 4.5 is not enough i said that it would be enough but is not and doing things twice, or for the third or forth times get costly man up if you are going 32 or bigger 6.5-8

exactly... get a rough country kit and throw a bilstein, re monotube or an OME shock under it and i bet that thing rides niiiiice. stay away from their shocks, and trackbars(so i hear..) and you should be fine.

nothing wrong with a bastard pack. I did a 2" S10 bastard pack using the main S10 leaf as an AAL on mine and it rode great and flexed out awesome. I took it out to sell the jeep (which didnt happen) and have since decided its going back in with a few friends. I am lookin to go to atleast 3" on an S10 bastard pack. I wheeled once with a guy with a 4" RC lift and 32's on his XJ and me with my 2" BB on 31's and I was able to do things he wasnt simply because I flexed better than he did and was able to put the power to the ground where he had to back up and go around. it was actually kinda funny

I would say bastard lift, for front you can do the 98 ZJ up-country coils + a 1-1.5" spacer. And for rear the bastard pack +shackles.
