I have 2 jeeps one is a 2wd that runs good no title but is in good condition and i have a 4.0 manual jeep with title in rought condition not running, i want to know can i convert the jeeps to a 4wd automatic? There 2 years apart?

 

You might get a few responses with more vehicle info, the years make a big difference.

 

It sounds like you want to build a nice jeep out of the 2wd one with no title right ?And on the trans a 4x4 and 2wd are different and will take a whole rebuild to change not a easy cheap fix.

 

If one is a manual and one is an auto, the axle ratios will be different. You need the same gear ratio for both axles for 4WD to work properly.

Also, more info on the year of each jeep would help

 

And hope the 4x4 one is the auto its a 3.55 gear while the stick is a 3.07 and running that gear on a auto would be really slow to take off.
