27 vs 29 spline
stupid question here. but im looking to replace my 27 spline 8.25 that is just totaly shot. am i able to throw a 29 spline in there? or can i only use 27 spine?

Entire rear end? Yes you should be able to swap that over with no issues.
Axle shafts alone:
No. Ill give you just one reason
1. Spider gears are made for 27 spline. will not go on a 29 spline axle.
